At OBS Business School, we are proud to recognise the exceptional achievements of our alumni through our Alumni Awards. These awards highlight those individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their field, inspirational leadership and an unwavering commitment to innovation and progress.
Woman Leadership
The Woman Leadership Award aims to honour women leaders who have made a significant mark in their respective industries. This award celebrates strategic vision and the ability to inspire and lead teams to success.
The winner of the first edition is Sonia Narvaez, HR Leader Enterprise Customer Solutions and Talent Management for Enterprise at Baker Hughes. Sonia is a Petroleum Engineer and is the HR Leader at Baker Hughes, a leading energy technology company, where she started more than 18 years ago. She is a certified coach, a volunteer mentor at OBS and an alumni of the Global MBA, the Master in Operations and Innovation Management and the Master in Competitive Economic Intelligence.
Professional Achievement
The Professional Achievement Award recognises those alumni who have achieved an exceptional level of professional success. This award highlights individuals whose dedication, skills and work ethic have led to outstanding achievements in their careers. The recipients of this award are exemplars of professional excellence and represent the core values of OBS in business.
The winner of the first edition is César Velasco Muñoz, Innovation & Digital Strategy Director at Astrazeneca. César holds a degree in Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a PhD in Medicine and Global Health from the University of Barcelona, a Master's degree in Public Health from the UPF, a postgraduate degree in Statistics in Health Sciences from the UAB, a Master's degree in Digital Transformation from OBS Business School and an Executive MBA from ESADE. At his age, César stands out for being a member of various national and international associations, and in 2016 he was chosen by Forbes magazine as one of the most influential young people under thirty in Europe, leading the science and health category.
